Happy Friday. What’s everyone reading?
Available today is the new psychological horror thriller The Face You Wear by Faith Pierce.
An unknown threat is creeping its way into Jana’s residence in this psychological horror novel.
Jana overcame a bleak, poverty-stricken childhood to achieve her version of the American dream. She has her own home, a successful career, and a new husband who offers everything she hoped for in a normal life.
Her tight grasp on stability however begins to slip with disturbing dreams about her husband Michael. A figure in the bedroom doorway watching her sleep, night-time conversations Michael claims never happened, someone lying beside her at night when Michael later says he wasn’t there.
Old anxieties and paranoia begin to surface as Jana becomes increasingly desperate to discover if the true threat is her mind, her husband…or something darker.
The Face You Wear is perfect for readers who love stories of suspense, horror, mystery, and domestic thrillers.
Bibliophilia Templum calls The Face You Wear “an intense read” and says, “This book had my heart skipping a single beat at small coincidences for days.”
The Face You Wear is Faith Pierce’s debut novel. Faith grew up outside the small town of Schulenburg, Texas, where her first jobs included waiting tables at a Catholic retreat center, selling kolaches and donuts at the local bakery, and working overnight shifts at Whataburger, among others. At 19, she packed up her car and moved with her son to Missouri, and has been there ever since.
Faith began writing seriously shortly after finishing college. Starting out, horror was one of the last things she expected to write, but after a nightmare she couldn’t get out of her head, she decided to turn it into a short story. From there, a fledgling interest in horror movies grew into a genuine love for the genre.
The Face You Wear is available on Amazon.
